Our Mission:
To provide our community and our students the opportunity to learn the necessary skills and work ethics needed to succeed in the rapidly growing profession of Therapeutic Massage. We do this by providing an environment and a curriculm that encourages and streamlines the exploration of consciousness, human potential, as well as academic achievement. Giving each individual the opportuniyty to learn about or expand their Knowledge in the allied health field of Massage.
Our classes are designed to instruct each student in the fundamental basics of understanding human anatomy and physiology, work ethics and business practices, the benefits of Massage to our circulatory systems, Acupressure, Foot Reflexology, Pathology, Deep Tissue Massage, Lomi Lomi, Polarity, Cranial Sacral as wellas advanded techniques needed for Certification. As well as instilling the significance and importance of maintaining the reputable Satisfactory Academic Progress.
We believe that being certified means having the ability to work in the Spa industry with increased self confidence and the valuable work ethics neede in today's work force. Our instructors encourage each studnet to seek the necessary class hours required for certification in the state of California.
We are striving to increase our curriculum and class size as well as offering a number of local businesses the use of Konocti College as a place to hold Training Seminars for the public; such as Aromatherapy for Massage and Wellness, or Meditation for Wellness. Thus increasing the opportunity for the public to become more familiar with the college as well as our town and all the have to offer.
